The Village to Village Leadership Foundation (V2V) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to strengthening communities by bringing people together through meaningful connection, leadership development, mentorship, and community engagement.
At V2V, we believe that everyone deserves a village, a place where they can build authentic relationships, discover opportunities, share knowledge, and grow alongside others. We create welcoming spaces that encourage collaboration, inspire service, and empower individuals to make a lasting impact in their communities.
V2V's initiatives are designed to help people connect with purpose and grow together. Guided by our philosophy to Give. Gain. Grow., we believe that when individuals invest in one another, stronger leaders emerge, stronger relationships are formed, and stronger communities are built.
The Hearts Behind the Village
Meet Our Founder
V2V was born from my own story. Growing up in River Rouge, Michigan, I saw firsthand how talented, driven, and hardworking people could be held back, not because they lacked potential, but because they lacked access, opportunity, and a strong network of support. Those experiences shaped who I am and ignited a passion for creating the kind of community I wished more people had.
Education opened many doors for me. After earning my degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Cyber Security from Howard University, I realized that success isn't built through education alone. Behind every opportunity is someone who believed in you, introduced you to the right room, or encouraged you to keep going when things became difficult.
That's why I founded Village to Village Leadership Foundation.
I wanted to create more than a nonprofit, I wanted to build a village. A place where people feel seen, supported, and connected. A community where mentorship, leadership, service, and meaningful relationships help individuals grow personally and professionally.
