OVERVIEW

The Bridge Program is V2V's three-tier mentorship initiative that intentionally connects high school students, college students, and career professionals to create a lasting network of support. Through mentorship, leadership development, and community, participants gain the relationships, resources, and opportunities needed to successfully navigate each stage of life. As students progress through the program, they not only receive guidance, they become mentors themselves, creating a cycle of leadership that strengthens communities.

High School Students

High school students will gain guidance and support from their mentors that can help them develop stronger study habits, apply for college and scholarships, and aid them in creating an extensive network.

Qualifications 

- Junior/senior student as of September 2025 at West Charlotte High School.

- 3.3 GPA Minimum ​

High School Students

College students will serve as both a mentor and a mentee. In this position, they will be exposed to many career advancement opportunities while also being able to pay it forward and share some of those same tools with their mentees.

Qualifications 

- Must be a college Junior or Senior 

- Must have a GPA minimum of 3.0 

Career Professionals

Career professionals will get the opportunity to reinvest in the community by contributing to the success of young adults by guiding a student through the transition from academia to the workforce.

Qualifications 

- Must be a 2nd year or greater working professional
